Belva Crider

Visitation for Belva Jean Crider, 87, of Tyler, is scheduled for 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mrs. Crider passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, in Tyler. She was born October 26, 1936, in Grand Saline, to Ulman Eugene and Fay Nell Williams Abrams. She grew up in the Grand Saline and Van area, before moving to Garland, where she raised her children. Belva Jean moved to Rockwall for 40 years and then to Tyler for the last 3 years. She enjoyed shopping and gardening and was also a huge fan of the Texas Rangers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edward Crider; and two sons, Ricky Lawrence Wallace and Scott Wayne Wallace.

Survivors include her son, Steve Wallace and wife Shari of Hawkins; Daughter, Darlene Davis of Greenville; two step-daughters, Candy Moore and husband Lyle of Kemp and Christy Hartwick and husband Ronnie of Kemp; brother, Ronnie Abrams and wife Barbara of Fruitvale; sister, Vicki Vasquez and husband Jody of Aledo; three grandchildren, Carrie Sharp (Matt), Kelsey Cook (Josh), and Alyssa Wallace (Hannah); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous other step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Interment will be in Sand Flat Cemetery, Grand Saline.
