EMORY – Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Lee Bathe Dalton, 70, of Emory, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Tracey Bartley officiating.
Burial will be in Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Ms. Dalton passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at a hospital in Quitman.
She was born Monday, July 28, 1947, in Estherville, Iowa, to the late Irvin L. and Lillian Irene Wood Bathe. Patricia lived on a farm of 480 acres from 1947 to 1961. After 1961, her family purchased a larger farm of 850 acres in Minnesota and she moved to Downey, California. She attended Santa Ana College from 1967 to 1969 studying business. Patricia worked for JC Penney Co. as an Inventory Clerk, for Angelus Pacific Decal Co., and then settled in at Carmel Architectural Products from 1977 to present day. For 24 years she handled all contract billing, contract administration, and projects such as Bay area rapid transit for San Francisco. A fellow employee introduced her to NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) and since 1984 has held various offices from Director to President of NAWIC. Patricia taught youth groups and children at Calvary Baptist Church in Huntington Beach, California, and also taught children’s groups at Lake Fork Baptist Church where she was a member. She sponsored children’s missions around the world through the church. Her talents and hobbies include crafts, floral arranging, sewing, tole painting, needlepoint, latch hook rugs, dancing, and avid pianist.
Survivors include her brother, James R. Bathe of Emory and ten nieces and nephews, Robert Bathe, Shelley Stevenson, Shannon Penix, Tiffany Hollinquest, Irvin Bathe, Sarah Bathe, Pamela Anglin, Stephanie Bathe, Victoria Bathe, and George Bathe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Karen Irene Bathe; and brother, Jerry Gene Bathe.
Pallbearers will be Robert Bathe, Irvin Bathe, George Bathe, Joe Hollinquest, Matt Stevenson, and Michael Anglin.
Family visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
