Ken Darcey

Graveside services for Ken Darcey, 80, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Tyler Memorial Park with Bro. Mitch Curtis and Les Darcey officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Darcey passed away March 15, 2017, in Grand Saline. He was born November 29, 1936, in Dallas to Jack & Clara Reckley Darcey. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and worked as a paint contractor. Mr. Darcey spent his early years in Chandler, then most of his life in Tyler before moving to Fruitvale in 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Susan Kelly Darcey.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Sue Darcey of Fruitvale; sons, Les Darcey and wife Laura of Fruitvale, and Scott Darcey and wife Nikki of Yantis; daughter, Sheryl Bates and husband René of McKinney; brothers, Chester Darcey and wife Louise of College Station and Billy Jack Darcey and wife Claudia of Tyler; sisters, Sandra Radtke of Hideaway Lake, Jane Ivy of Lindale, and Brenda Ward of Tyler; eight grandchildren, Amber Smith and husband Leonard, Heath Darcey and wife Bri, Trevor Darcey and wife Stephanie, Zachary Darcey, Clara Darcey, Caroline Darcey, Shane Darcey and Amanda Darcey; and seven great-grandchildren.
