Jeffrey Darnell

Services for Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Darnell, 46, of Rowlett, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Interment will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.

Mr. Darnell passed away January 27, 2024, at his home in Rowlett. He was born June 26, 1977, in Dallas, to Jimmy Odell & Judith Campbell Darnell. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School, Class of 1996. Jeffrey spent most of his life in the Dallas area, the last 16 years in Rowlett, and worked for Firestone Tires and NTB. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fairis & Alma Darnell, and Edwin & Ellen Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Michelle Darnell of Rowlett; parents, Jimmy & Judy Darnell of Grand Saline; son, Gage Michael Darnell of Rowlett; brother, Michael James Darnell, and wife Alison of Rockwall; niece, Kaleigh Darnell, nephew, Kade Darnell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The pallbearers will be Jonathan Darnell, Kade Darnell, Michael Darnell, Todd Harris, Chris Sleeper, and Wes Fritz.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
