Deborah Daugherty

Mrs. Deborah Ann Ray Daugherty, 61, passed away January 8, 2022, at her residence in Alba, TX. She was born May 13, 1960, in Kilgore, TX, to Arvil Turner Ray and Patsy Ann Dobbins Ray. She moved, from Kilgore, to the Lake Fork area five years ago. Deborah worked as an occupational medical technician. She went above and beyond helping her patients. She brought a light and joy to people when they were down and out with their own suffering and illnesses. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Ray; and son, Jody Daugherty, Sr., who passed away in April 2021.

Survivors include her father, Arvil Turner Ray of Mississippi; one daughter, Kippie Moore; two brothers, Rickey Ray, Sr., and Rickey Ray Jr.; one sister, Mary Minor; and five grandchildren, Zachary Daugherty, Jody Lee Daugherty, Jr., Makenna Daugherty, Ryleigh Daugherty, and Nikke Moore.

The family will be planning a joined memorial service for Deborah and Jody Daugherty, Sr. at a later date.
