Ruth David

Ruth Ann David, 62 of Grand Saline, passed away September 28, 2012 at her home. She was born December 7, 1949 in Hugheston Creek, West Virginia. She spent her early years in Delaware and West Virginia before moving to Grand Saline in 1991. She owned & operated the Grand Saline Quick Stop. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Aaron Dwayne Lee David; and brother-in-law, Vernon Waugh.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert David of Grand Saline; three sons, Robert V. David III and wife Christi of Grand Saline, Dwayne Lee David and wife Katie of Florida, Richard Walter David and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma; two daughters, Ann Marie Rush and husband Larry of Fruitvale, Crystal Lyn Nation and husband Will of Oklahoma; two brothers, Doug Snyder and Jeffery Snyder, both of West Virginia; five sisters, Elizabeth "Bobbie" Martin, Sharron Truman, Judy Blunt, Edith Dixon and Regina Waugh; and 13 grandchildren, Blessing David, Makayla David, Shelby David, Laney Rush, Naudica Reese, Andrew David, Ayden Nation, Jerri Nation, Allie Nation, Hannah Nation, Trey Bahm, Nicholas Stinnett and TJ Ollison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Larry Rush, Derek Koonce, Will Nation, Bobby Land, and The Quick Stop Extended Family.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
