GOLDEN – Funeral services for Roy Scott Davidson, 63, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Wilson Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba, with Bro. Craig Kearby officiating.
Final resting place will be in Golden Cemetery.
Mr. Davidson passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born Wednesday, March 4, 1953, in McKinney. He lived most of his life in the Golden area. Roy was a member of the Merchant Marines, and he was a painter in the construction business.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Cynthia Davidson of Golden; father, Scott Davidson of Howe; sons, Tully Davidson and wife, Molly, of Grand Saline, and Jeffery Davidson of Golden; brother, Glen Davidson and wife, Michelle of Golden; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Ruth Davidson; sister, Angela Mills-Duncan; and infant brother, Randy Davidson.
Pallbearers are Eric Davidson, Corey Davidson, Paul Royar, Hunter Davidson, Dylan Davidson, and Sawyer Davidson.
