Services for Bobbie Ruth Davis, 74 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Chaplain Pat Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis passed away July 20, 2012 in Grand Saline. She was born February 9, 1938 in Grand Saline to Buck & Ruth Bailey Alexander. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline where she worked as a nurses aide. She was preceded in death by her father, Buck Alexander; mother, Ruth Mosley; husbands, Oliver Smith and Charles Mosley; four brothers, "Hoppy" Alexander, Billy Shaver, Henry Edward Shaver and Jacky Brown; daughter, Mary Ann Shaver; grandson, John Smith; great-grandson, Donavon Burton; and granddaughter, Peggy Jean Wilson.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry & Kerrie Smith of Farmersville, Charles & Ruth Mosley of Port Lavaca, Danny & Tammy Mosley of Camden, AR and Sammy & Brandy Mosley of Carthage; daughters and sons-in-law, Janie & Juan Ontiveros of Canton and Pat & Rick Wilson of Canton; brother, Herbert Alexander of Canton; sister, Wanda Jean Anderson of Lake Holbrook; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Heath Burton, Chris Hale, Michael Bryant, Kevin Wilson, Randy Watson and Tommy Joe Wilson.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
