Services for Joanne Marie Gabel Davis, 46, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Mrs. Davis passed away May 19, 2016. She was born June 21, 1969, in Livermore, CA, to Robert & Anna O’Reilly Gabel. She spent her early years in Plano, five years in California, two years in Forney, and then the last 2 ½ years in Grand Saline. She was a homemaker. Joanne was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband, James S. Davis of Grand Saline; father, Robert J. Gabel of St. Louis, MO; son, Preston Scott Davis and fiancé Shelby Morgan of Lindale; daughter, Katie Davis of Grand Saline; two brothers, Robert Gabel and wife Kate of Marion, IA, James Gabel and wife Jan of Richardson; two sisters, Sharon Buchanan and husband Larry of St. Louis, MO, and Barbara Lippert and husband Robert of Flemington, NJ; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James & Virginia Davis of Wills Point; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
