Norma Sue Davis

FRANKSTON– Services for Norma Sue Davis, 72, of Frankston, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July, 31, 2015, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Fred Morrow and Rev. Bobby Land officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Davis passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, in Tyler.
She was born Wednesday, February 24, 1943, in Mineola to the late Joseph Clenton and Willie Bertha Sanders Hammond. She attended Hawkins and Mineola Schools and had lived in Lindale before moving to Frankston in 1991. She worked in the administrative office of Lindale Medical Clinic for 29 years for Dr. Wendell and Donna Hand in Lindale TX, and she was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Donald Davis of Frankston; sons and spouses, Gary and Chantelle Davis of Tyler, and Keith and Anita Davis of Lindale; daughter, Teresa Brooks of Houston; 4 grandchildren, Missy Surber and spouse O.J., Brandon Brooks, Cody Davis, and Jon Allen; 3 great-grandchildren, Morghan, Jase, and Kalvin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Hammond; sisters, Jimmie Turner and Malda Martin; and brother-in-law, Gerald Wayne Davis.
Pallbearers will be Cole Cochran, Tom Brooks, Les Melvin, Jim Hammond, .
Family visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday 6-8 p.m.
