Maria Del Refugio

Memorial services for Maria Del Refugio, 72, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 12 p.m., Noon, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Del Refugio passed away January 31, 2025, at her residence in Fruitvale. She was born July 4, 1952, in Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico, to J. Natividad and Ma Carlos Estupinan De La Fuente. Maria spent most of her life in Nuevo, Loredo, before moving to Fruitvale in 2009. She was a Bible Student with Jehovah Witness Spanish Congregation in Canton. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Isidro Hernandez Gonzalez.

Survivors include her son, Isidro Hernandez and wife Reyna of Fruitvale; daughter, Enedina Hernandez of Fruitvale; four grandchildren, Eli Hernandez and wife Hannah, Reyna Michelle Hernandez, Isidro Hernandez and wife Ashton, and Brian Flores and wife Jacie; three great-grandchildren, Alayna Hernandez, Maizie Hernandez, and Stetson Flores; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
