Mary Deuson

Graveside services for Mary Rose Cave Deuson, 90, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden, with Bro. Louis Strehlow officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Mrs. Deuson passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Richardson. She was born December 9, 1933, in Golden, to Roland Olander and Ethel Grace Caldwell Cave. Mary lived most of her life in Golden and was a member of Pilgrim Rest #2 Church. She loved her family dearly. She was also very fond of the elderly, children, and animals. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Mike Kelly McCollum; second husband, Jesse Clinton Deuson; brother, Carl Cave; sisters, Launice Estoll and Clovis Roberts.

Survivors include her son Michael Brian McCollum of Abilene; daughter, Carol Mansker and husband Billy of Golden; brother, Jerry Cave and wife Betty of Garland; sister, Linda Grace Hass and husband Preston of Alba; two grandchildren, Brandon Doyle and wife Nicole and Elizabeth Mansker; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Zachary, and Lilah; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the cemetery before the service.
