Diane Grimes

Services for Diane Grimes, 73, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2026, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Ernie Williams officiating.

Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Diane passed away April 30, 2026, in Dallas. She was born February 6, 1953, in Dallas to James Virgil & Ophelia Sinclair Causey. She spent her early years in Dallas and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School with the class of 1971. Diane was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Balch Springs. She married Charlie Grimes in 1971. They moved to Grand Saline in 1981 where she was a beautician for several years. Diane is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charlie Grimes of Grand Saline; two sons, Jason Grimes of Grand Saline, and Matt Grimes (Melina) of Grand Saline; two brothers, Joe Causey (Terry) of Balch Springs, and Glen Causey (Carol) of Kaufman; three grandchildren, Maty Grimes, Sophie Lane (Eric), and Chaz Grimes (Emily); two great-grandchildren, Kipp Grimes, and Nellie Grimes; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Grimes, Matt Grimes, Devin Causey, Chuck Morse, Sydney Joe Grimes, and Chaz Grimes.

Honorary pallbearer will be James Glen “Tiger” Causey.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
