Graveside services for Donald Hugh Holleman, 98, of Quinlan, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026, at Mankin Cemetery, in Trinidad, TX, with Bro. Rocky Weatherford officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Friday, under the pavilion at the cemetery.

Donald Hugh Holleman, 98, of Quinlan, passed away October 5, 2026, in Farmersville Rehab Center. He was born April 1, 1928, in Dallas, TX, to John Boyd Holleman and Zora Wells Holleman. He was employed by Dallas Power & Light and retired after 40 years of service. He went to work for the company in 1946, along with five other men and they were always referred to as the 46-6.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Nadine Clark; and sister, Dorothy Zabel of Hot Springs, AR.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Payne Holleman of Quinlan; daughter Leatha and son-in-law, John Smith of Quinlan; sons Jimmie Gayle of Duncanville and William Don of Euless; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
