Ben "Poppa Rabbit" Driver

Celebration of Life services for Mr. Ben "Poppa Rabbit" Driver, 79, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Danny LaPrade and Bro. Don Fleming officiating.
Mr. Driver passed away December 3, 2020, in Tyler. He was born December 9, 1940, in Sacul, to Dennis Daniel & Evelyn Louise Gilbreath Driver. He spent his early years in Lancaster and moved to the Grand Saline area in 1985. He attended East Center Baptist Church. He was a member of the Local 549 Cement Masons, where he was inducted as the youngest member, at the age of 16. He owned and operated 3D Concrete for several years and then farmed & ranched the last 35 years of his life. Mr. Driver was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Floyd Driver; and sister, Betty England.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Paula Driver; two sons, Paul Driver and wife Kandy of Quitman and Ben Jaman Driver and wife Sharon of Forney; daughter, Traci Kuntzman and husband Aaron of Grand Saline; brother, Louis Driver and wife Patsy of Grand Saline; sister, Beverly Oglesby; seven grandchildren, McKenzie Preston, James Bryan McPherson II, Connor McPherson, Carlton Dean Driver, Karson Danielle Driver, Samantha Leann Driver, and Katelyn Grace Driver; great-grandbaby Preston on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grandkids and Baby Preston.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at the funeral home.
