ALBA – Services for Lillie Mae Fields English, 87, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Ms. English passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at her residence in Alba.
She was born Tuesday, September 3, 1929, in Alba, to the late John Barnett “Barney” and Edna N. Pitts Fields. She married Carl L. English on June 5, 1946, in Wills Point. She lived most of her life in the Alba area. Lillie worked for Tyler Pipe for 25 years as a cashier in the snack bar and was a member of the Open Door Fellowship Church in Alba.
Survivors include her son, Jason English of Alba; daughter, Carla and husband Boyde Parmer of Alba; brother, Kenneth Fields of Alba; sister, Glenda Blackshear of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years at his death on December 31, 2011, Carl L. English; son, Roger English; and grandson, Alex Leserv.

There will be no family visitation.
