Scott English

Services for Mr. Scott Anthony English, 54, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, with Algia Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Scott passed away December 21, 2023, at his home in Alba. He was born August 4, 1969, in Tyler, to Kenneth & Frances Wood English. He was raised in Alba, moved to Dallas when he was 20, and then moved back to Alba recently. Scott enjoyed traveling and being on the lake during holidays. He loved his family so much, but especially adored his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth English (April 2, 2013), and brother, Shane English (November 27, 2012).

Survivors include his mother, Frances English of Alba; nephew and niece, Isaiah English and Tagen English; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Isaiah English, Joseph (Joey) McIntosh, Johnny Wood, Keith Nun, Luke Wood, and Chris Ussery.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Tuesday, before the service at the funeral home.
