Memorial services for Bennie Gearldean Erwin, 79, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. David Hicks officiating.
Ms. Erwin passed away July 30, 2016, in Grand Saline. She was born November 7, 1936, in Wood County, to Thomas Henry & Mable Pansy Hammond Gresham. Bennie was raised in Wood County before moving to Grand Saline in 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grand Saline and had worked for Lone Star Parts since 1994. Bennie is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Rubin, James & Daniel Gresham; sister, Helen Skinner; and daughter, Patsy Green.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Erwin of Grand Saline; daughter, Brenda Scott of Mineola; sister, Nelda Null of Mineola; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
