Dena Erwin

A Celebration of Life for Dena Ranae Erwin, 47, is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Don Cannon officiating.

Ms. Erwin passed away January 23, 2025, at her residence in Fruitvale. She was born March 31, 1977, in Grand Saline. She was a lifelong resident of Fruitvale and a 1995 graduate of Fruitvale High School. Dena completed her certification as a nail tech and massage therapist and later owned and operated her own shop in Lindale. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Erwin; and mother, Marilyn Monk.

Survivors include her brother, Jeremy Erwin of Fruitvale; nephews, Ty Erwin of Grand Saline and Caden Erwin of Grand Saline; aunts and uncles, Bobby Joe Erwin of Grand Saline, Francine Erwin of Ft. Worth, Mike and Linda Monk of Grand Saline, and Ronnie and Robbie Monk of Grand Saline; cousins, Jennifer and Joey Allen, Jessica and James Krahula, Dean and Beri Monk, Michelle and Monty Lewis, Heather and Jeremy Grace, and Lindsey and Andrew Phillips; special cat, Alee; and numerous other relatives and friends.
