Jack Farrar

ALBA – Celebration of Life services for Jack Clement Farrar, 71, of Alba, will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Alba Community Center from 1-3 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Farrar passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at his residence in Alba.
He was born August 5, 1946, in DeKalb, to Junior Lee and Lula Rebecca Hodgson Farrar. He married Kathy Sue Giles on June 18, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jack served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and lived in the Alba area for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, of 13 years, Kathy Farrar of Alba; son, Jack E. Farrar of Dallas; stepson, Wayland Fortner of Mineola; brothers, Odie Farrar of Yantis, Paul and wife Debbie Farrar of Pottsboro, and Jerry and wife Teresa Farrar of Alba; and grandson, Alex Farrar.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
