Lavern Feltman

Graveside services for Lavern Ruth Feltman, 77, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Woodside Cemetery with Bro. Mitch Curtis officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mrs. Feltman passed away October 28, 2023, in Tyler. She was born March 8, 1946, in Dallas, to James Asbury & Ida Mae Brown Jackson. She has lived for the last 45 years in Fruitvale where she enjoyed telling others about Jesus, spending time with her family, doing yardwork, and making blankets for people. She was a member of Driven Life Church, Canton. Lavern was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Wayne Feltman in 2014; and two brothers, Leroy Jackson, and Jimmy Jackson.

Survivors include her three daughters, Penny Skidmore and husband Greg of Paris, Sherry Mayne of Fruitvale, and Karen Reed of Fruitvale; sister, Linda Welchel of Corsicana; six grandchildren, Rachel Holsome (Martin), Tenisha Greunke (Jared), Sarah Tatum (Matt), Karley Partin (Cory), Tiffani Reese (Conrad), and Geramey Mayne; fourteen great-grandchildren, Blayke, Mykaela, Madison, Lesli, Caileigh, Hudson, Adelynn, Ashton, Caden, Rhylea, Emerie, Eliot, Emerson, and Francis; three great-great-grandchildren, Maizie, Legend, and Beckham; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
