Services for Mr. Pat Fisher, 74, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Pat Odell Fisher passed away April 21, 2024, in Grand Saline. He was born August 25, 1949, grew up on the farm in East Center, graduated from Grand Saline High School, and had been a lifelong resident of Grand Saline. Pat was baptized at East Center Baptist Church in 1992, had attended Main Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed the church services at Azalea Trail Nursing Center over the years he lived there. He was a paint and body man for Hans Elliott Chevrolet/Truman Heddins Chevrolet in Grand Saline, and Grand Saline Paint & Body, where he worked for his close friend Dave “Buffy” Harrison. He also owned & operated his own paint and body shop at his home in Grand Saline. Pat truly enjoyed singing and listening to the old classic country music. He made special guest appearances at Salt Lickers on the Salty Stage. He even received a standing ovation for his last performance there! Pat loved getting out with Bryan and the great-grandkids to check the cows, go to Salt Lickers, and attend other family outings.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Leeron "Bo" & Beatrice Fisher; two brothers, Rayford Fisher, and Jerry Don “Sonny” Fisher.
Survivors include his two brothers, Tooter Fisher of Grand Saline, and Boots Fisher and wife Becky of Grand Saline; three sisters, Billlie Sue McClanahan of Grand Saline, Anna Fite and husband Bo of Grand Saline, and Sarah Clark and husband Wayne of Grand Saline; stepson, Neal Cash of Woodstock, GA; two stepdaughters, Cindy Bickerdike of Diana, and Stephanie Potter of Gurdon, AR; nine grandchildren, Danica Cook, Amber Carpenter, Cole Carpenter, Brent Bickerdike, Josh Cash, Kelly Vanbeck, Russell Cash, Sky Delgado, and Payton Potter; eight great-grandchildren, Triston Marshall, Sarah Marshall, Briley Marshall, Josie Marshall, Amelia Dinkins, Elizabeth Golden, Trey Golden, Caleb Higginbotham; two great-great-grandchildren, Kynslee and Korben; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the funeral home.
