Rayford Fisher

Services for Rayford Fisher, 82, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2022, at East Center Baptist Church, with Bro. Danny LaPrade officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher passed away September 23, 2022, in Grand Saline. He was born April 27, 1940, in Grand Saline, to L. R. & Beatrice Buyher Fisher. Rayford served in the U. S. Airforce and was a welder. He spent all his life in Van Zandt County where he was a member of East Center Baptist Church. Rayford especially loved to fish! He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Ray Fisher of Hawkins; daughter, Becky Hamby and husband Robert of Grand Saline; four brothers, Jerry “Sonny” Fisher of Canton, Tooter Fisher of Grand Saline, Boots Fisher and wife Becky of Grand Saline, and Pat Fisher of Grand Saline; three sisters, Billie McClanahan of Grand Saline, Anna Fite and husband Bo of Grand Saline, and Sarah Clark and husband Wayne of Grand Saline; two grandchildren, Caitlyn Taylor and husband Tristan, and Robert Hamby; two great-grandchildren, Montana and Camille Taylor; special friend, Juanita Brown of Quinlan; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Oakland Cemetery, P.O. Box 1054, Canton, TX 75103.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
