Robert “Cotton” Fite
Services for Robert “Cotton” Fite, 100 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Bert Fite officiating.
Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.
Mr. Fite passed away February 1, 2013 in Grand Saline. He was born August 2, 1912 in Grand Saline to Robert Bert & Ethel Ann Ingroum Fite. He lived in Grand Saline all of his life where he worked for Morton Salt for 37 years and was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Inez Fite; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bo & Anna Fite of Grand Saline, Bert & Bobbie Fite of Jacksonville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn & Raburn Roseman of Grand Saline, Paula & O.D. Copeland of Grand Saline; Velma Isaac of Fruitvale; six grandchildren, Billy Dean and Roger Dale Copeland, Dianna Reich, Bert Rex and Paul Fite and Robert Isaac; and seven great-grandchildren, Logan and Justus Craft; Nathanial, Christian and Kristopher Fite; and Corbin Rex and Brailee Fite.
Memorials may be made to Corinth Cemetery Association.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
