Paul Fitzgerald

Mr. Paul Wayne Fitzgerald, 74, passed away April 6, 2021, at his residence in Alba. He was born September 10, 1946, in Nacogdoches to Paul and Mary Lee Knous Fitzgerald. On May 15, 1968, he married Deborah Louise White in Dallas. Paul had lived in Alba for the last 36 years. He loved his grandbabies and driving his big red truck. He had the ability to build a fire in any weather conditions. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Debbie Fitzgerald of Alba; three sons, Kevin Fitzgerald and wife Brandi of Ben Wheeler, Brian Fitzgerald and wife Amanda of Alba, and Robert Fitzgerald of Alba; daughter, Lorie Lewis and husband Brian of Alba; brother, Curtis Fitzgerald and wife Patsy of Oklahoma; two sisters, Linda Fitzgerald and Loyce Fitzgerald both of Malakoff; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Wilson Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

The family will be planning a memorial service for Mr. Fitzgerald at a later date.
