ALBA –Services for Paul N. Foster, 87, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba.
Burial will be in Colony Cemetery, Alba.
Mr. Foster passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at his residence.
He was born September 7, 1927, in Alba to the late Charles Edward and Sara Myrtle Wright Foster. Paul was a beloved member of his community in Alba and living there most of his life. He was the original cowboy who worked on ranches in West Texas, early in his career. He married Carol McGuire on August 12, 1975, in Alba. Later in life he farmed with teams of horses and mules and was a cattle buyer by trade. He was a very loving, giving Christian man.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years Carol Foster of Alba; step-son Michael Mullins, Jr. of Lindale; step-daughter, Amy Mullins of Alba; granddaughter, Angela Willis and husband J.D.; great-grandchildren, Ty and Reese; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Sam Barcus, Joe Krodle, Josh Krodle, Henry Mason, Chuck Speck, Stack Lewers, Levi Barcus, and Damon Wallace.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
