Services for Billie Stone Frederick, 75, of Hawkins, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Alba, with Dr. Kelly Burton officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Frederick passed away May 26, 2025, at her residence in Hawkins. She was born February 14, 1950, in Dallas, to Fred Maurice and Jessie Woodrow McKenney Stone. Billie graduated from Garland High School in 1968. On December 27, 1998, she married Jerry Frederick in Wylie. The couple relocated to Hawkins from Rowlett 20 years ago, where they built a life surrounded by family and faith. Billie was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Alba. Over the years, she served her community as a dispatcher for the Garland Police Department for 10 years and as a purchasing agent for Holland Hitch in Wylie. She loved gardening, all crafts involving painting, reading and crocheting. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Peggy Knox.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Jerry Frederick of Hawkins; son, Donald Ray King, Jr. of Quitman; daughter, Angela Nicholle Massingill of Hamilton; four stepdaughters, Misty Frederick of Angleton, Shannon Ling, Tina Frederick, and Alisha Frederick all of Colorado; two sisters, Bobbie Dean and husband Gary of Lavon and Jackie Stone of Alba; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pallbearers will be Danny Morgan, Michael Morgan, Brett Knox, Greg Dunn, Brandon Dunn, and Shane Reynolds.
