Matt Galanek

Mr. Matthew “Matt” John Galanek, 62, of Grand Saline, passed away May 20, 2023, at his home. He was born May 1, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Stephen & Janice Kabachus Galanek. Matt lived in Massachusetts and Hawaii before moving to Grand Saline ten years ago. He owned and operated Jet of Texas (Patio Covers) and Global Odor Control of Hawaii. Matt enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing, and collecting cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen & Janice Galanek.

Survivors include his wife, Juliet Galanek of Grand Saline; two brothers, Peter Steven Galanek of Texas, and Christopher Galanek and wife Jenny of Colorado; one sister; Joan Galanek Lockwood of UK; and many other relatives and friends.
