Ines Garcia Olarte

Services for Ines Garcia Olarte, 74, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2024, at Iglesia Bautista La Fe, with Tobias Palma officiating, and Antonio Garcia interpreting, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.

Mrs. Ines Garcia Olarte was born on February 14, 1950, in Agua Dulce, Papantla Veracruz, Mexico, to father, Bruno Garcia Olarte and mother, Marcelina Santiago Baez, both of Mexico. Ines had lived in Grand Saline for the last 34 years, where she was an active member of Iglesia Bautista La Fe. She worked at Bruce Miller nursery for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juana Garcia Olarte, Roberta Garcia Olarte, and Luz Maria Garcia Baez; son, German Barros Garcia; and great-grandson, Hector Olivares.

Survivors include her brother, Bruno Garcia Baez; sisters, Tomasa Garcia Baez, Cristina Garcia Baez, and Guadalupe Garcia Baez; children, Isabel Garcia Baez of Grand Saline; Sergio Hernandez Garcia of Mexico City, Fortunato Garcia Olarte of Iguala Gerrero, Mexico, Alma Palma of Grand Saline, Antonio Barros Garcia of Grand Saline, and Emilio Solis Garcia of Grand Saline; twenty grandchildren, Marisol Olivares, Ana Hernandez Garcia, Rosario Hernandez Garcia, Clara Ines Hernandez Garcia, and Linda Lopez, all of Grand Saline, Isabel Hernandez Garcia of Virginia, Luiz Angel Diaz, Lucero Hernandez Diaz, and Sarai Hernandez Diaz, all of Mexico City, Uriel Enrique Garcia Hernandez, Jesus Alejandro Garcia Hernandez, Damaris Areli Garcia Hernandez, all of Iguala, Mexico, Tobias Palma Jr. of Troup, Samuel Palma, Evan Garcia, both of Grand Saline, Presley Bruno Garcia of Mineola, Everr Ines Solis, Emilio Solis Jr, and Emmett Solis, all of Van, and Adam Solis of Grand Saline; thirteen great-grandchildren, Victoria Olivares, Alexander Olivares, Sophia Sanchez, and Oswaldo Hernandez of Grand Saline, Diego Martinez, Marissa Martinez, Nathaneal Mendez, Axel Mendez, and Kayla Fontes, all of Virginia, Joshua Cruz, Miah Martinez, and Ulises Mendez, all of Grand Saline, Aylin Yatziry Garcia Perez of Agua Dulce, Veracruz, Mexico.

Pallbearers will be Fortunato Garcia, Emilio Solis, Presley Garcia, Evan Garcia, Samuel Palma, Tobias Palma Jr., Oswaldo Hernandez, Antonio Garcia, and Joshua Cruz.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Bartley Funeral Home.
