Raymond Geraldon Jr

ALBA – Services for Raymond Oren Geraldon, Jr., 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Jerry Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Geraldon passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born Thursday, August 8, 1935, in Rains County, to the late Raymond Oren Sr., and Nannie Arlene “Lena” Strebeck Geraldon. He married Peggy Ruth Whitus on July 28, 1956, in Sulphur Springs. He had a business in Dallas, and was a Jack of all trades, master of all. He lived most of his life in Rains County.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Peggy Geraldon of Alba; daughter Carolyn Sue “Susie” and husband Keith Lennon of Yantis; brothers, Ray Len Geraldon of Alba, and Ricky Geraldon and wife Shirley of Lawn; sisters, Faye Crawford of Dallas, Georgie Coonrod of Whitney, Lena Cason and husband Joe of Point, and Nelda Moore of Grand Prairie; 3 granddaughters, Christy Dawn Blodgett, Laura Catherine Pate and husband Rob, and Lacey Rae Ogle and husband Tanner; 9 great grandchildren, Stormie Dawn Mahl, Adrian Pate, Lyndsey Pate, Landry Pate, Ryan Blodgett, Colton Blodgett, Dakota Ogle, Montana Ogle, and Colorado Ogle; 3 great-great grandchildren, Cadence, Connor, and Madalyn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Mack Geraldon; sisters, Marie West, Kathy Irons, and Gennetta Jackson; and two infant siblings.
Pallbearers are Steven Bryant, Bobby Coonrod, Ricky Dempsey, Dakota Ogle, Colton Blodgett, and David Jackson. Honorary pallbearers are great-grandsons.
