Willie Gilliam

Mr. Willie Lee Gilliam, 80, passed away peacefully in the presence of family and friends on July 2, 2024, at the home of his niece in Quitman. He was born August 15, 1943, in Corsicana, to the late Claude Willie and Coleta Jewel Helton Gilliam. Lee’s passion in life was the game of Bridge. He was a Silver Life Master at Bridge and had numerous friends at the Bridge tables. He worked for many years in the legal profession as a document processor and other capacities in the Dallas area.

Survivors include his partner of 44 years, Daniel Henry; brother, Billy Wayne Gilliam; niece, Cindy Gilliam; daughters, Gretta, Sally, and Rachael; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
