Lela Mae "Pat" Gillispie

Services for Lela Mae “Pat” Gillispie, 94, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Bartley Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Smith and Chaplain David Hicks officiating.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Gillispie passed away May 24, 2014 in Grand Saline. She was born January 26, 1920 in Grand Saline to William Henry & Effie Mae Lowe Copeland. She spent all of her life in Grand Saline where she worked as a seamstress and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She played the piano for the church for over 50 years. Mrs. Gillispie loved to fish, cook, sew, crochet and work in the flowerbeds. She enjoyed staying busy and looked forward to camping in Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Gillispie; two sisters, Murlene Jackson and Estelle Whatley; three brothers, Calvin Copeland, Vernon McCullough and Claude McCullough.
Survivors include her son, Willie Gillispie of Grand Saline; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
