Terry Gipson

Graveside services for Mrs. Terry Gipson, 71, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Weiland Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.

Terry Josephine Drown Gipson passed away December 17, 2022, at her home. She was born January 1, 1951, in Dallas to Paul Madison & Betty Ann Strong Drown. Terry had spent the last 29 years in Hunt Co. where she served as a member of the Lone Oak School Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Charles Paul; and grandson, Gus Fry.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jack Gipson of Lone Oak; two sons, Jeffrey Gipson and wife Kristen of New Mexico, and Jacob Gipson and wife Amber of Dallas; daughter, Jennifer Fry and husband Micah of Lone Oak; two brothers, Paul Drown and wife Cheryl of Austin, and Richard Drown and wife Penni of Emory; two sisters, Kelly Alamo and husband Gary of Colorado, and Becky Cobb of Richardson; five grandchildren, Ava, Max, Olivia, Vivienne, and Jack; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m., after the graveside service on Tuesday, at Jack’s barn for lunch.
