Virginia Gipson

Services for Virginia Fagg Gipson, 76, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Cross Roads Church of Christ, Grand Saline, with Don Cannon officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Creagleville Cemetery, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Gipson passed away February 24, 2016 in Longview. She was born October 9, 1939, in Grand Saline to Alvis and Elsie Grier Fagg. Virginia married J.C. Gipson on June 6, 1969 in Fruitvale. She lived all of her life in Grand Saline where she worked in the cafeteria for the Grand Saline ISD. Mrs. Gipson was a member of the Cross Roads Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Gipson; and daughter, Donna Glidden.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Leon Quinn of Grand Saline and Nada and Russell Huff of Grand Saline; one son-in-law, Richard Glidden of Wills Point; two brothers, Travis Fagg and his wife June of Tyler and Jackie Fagg of Grand Saline; one sister, Nell Hawkins of Mineola; six grandchildren, Whitley Hill and husband Stephen, Sara Glidden, Robby Huff, Brad Huff, Katy Huff, and Joey Huff; five great-grandchildren, Ayden Hill, Paisley Hill, Jayden Glidden, Amelia Huff, and Olivia Huff; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Hill, Don Hawkins, Robby Huff, Brad Huff, Rusty Herron, and Jeffrey Garrett.
Honorary pallbearers are Ayden Hill and Joey Huff.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
