GOLDEN – Services for Ernest Jim Glasscock, 65, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Jason Rolen officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Glasscock passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his residence in Golden.
He was born Sunday, February 18, 1951, in San Antonio, to the late Ernest William and Lillie Mae Roach Glasscock. He married Barbara Boddie on February 8, 1974, in Mineola. He was a Sign Installer with TXDOT for over 20 years and lived in Golden most of his life. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church, Golden.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Barbara Glasscock of Golden; son, Jim Alan Glasscock and wife Kristen of Golden; brother, Jerry Glasscock of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Gladys Barnhart, Glenda Glasscock and husband Jeff Alexander, all of Golden; and 2 granddaughters, Taylor and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura Ann Glasscock; brother, Johnny W. Glasscock; and brother-in-law, Danny Barnhart.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in the chapel.
