David Glubke

YANTIS– Services for David Michael Glubke, 52, of Yantis, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating.
Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Glubke passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, in South Padre Island.
He was born July 19, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to David Henry and Charlotte Ann Hamerski Glubke. He went to school in Arlington, and joined the Navy. He travelled the United States and around the world, served in Desert Storm, and retired as a Navy Chief in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after 20 years of service. He then returned to Texas. He married Tina Denise Laney on January 20, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a ROV pilot in the offshore engineering industry working for Oceaneering, Inc. for seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Glubke of Yantis; father, David Henry Glubke of Yantis; son, Christopher Glubke of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Jessica Glubke of Arlington; brother, Scott Glubke of Aubrey; sister, Julie Walker and husband Stac of Early; one granddaughter, Presley, due in November; nephew, Garek; nieces, Peyton and Raemi; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Hamerski.
Pallbearers are Scott Glubke, Christopher Glubke, Ron Hamerski, Paul Glubke, Lynn Blevins, and Stac Walker.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday one hour prior to service time.
