Mr. DWayne Godwin, 76, of Grand Saline, passed away April 17, 2019 in Dallas. He was born February 25, 1943 in Dallas to Olan Wilson & Mildred Louise Rucker Godwin. Mr. Godwin was a building materials salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann Godwin; and brother, Gene Godwin.
Survivors include his son, Olan DWayne Godwin Jr. and wife Kristine of Wills Point; daughter, Cynthia CreMeens and husband Robert of Dallas; four grandchildren, Katherine Chandler, Elisabeth CreMeens, Andrew CreMeens and Wilson Godwin; one great-grandchild, Garren Chandler; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Sand Flat Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 8, Grand Saline, TX 75140.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Private graveside services will be held at Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline.
