Graveside services for Genardo “Henry” Gonzales, 85, of Whitehouse, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba, with Pastor Anthony Williams officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Gonzales passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Tyler. He was born September 18, 1939, in Arlington, to Fidel and Amparo Marie Mendez Gonzales. On April 23, 2000, he married Dorothy Louise Williams in Hot Springs, AR. Together, they moved from Paris to Whitehouse, that same year. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Flint. Henry owned and operated his own concrete business for many years. He was known as a meticulous housekeeper and a people person. He loved everyone, especially his family and his dog Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Chris; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Dorothy Gonzales of Whitehouse; two sons, Tim and Tony of Arlington; stepson, Richard of Quitman; daughter, Tonya of Arlington; stepdaughter, Toni of Golden; three sisters, Rosie and Renee of Mansfield, and Laura of Arlington; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
