Carol Gordon

Services for Carol Wells Gordon, 68, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Bartley Funeral Home with Steve Schifani officiating.
Interment will follow in Starr Cemetery.
Mrs. Gordon passed away March 9, 2014 in Grand Saline. She was born December 27, 1945 in Grand Saline to Lee and Sarah Monroe Wells. Carol is a “Child of God”. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline and Longview. She was a member of the Grand Saline High School graduating class of 1964 and was also a graduate of Texas A & M at Commerce. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother, Kent Wells; and her husband, Kenneth Gordon.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristi Maciel of Grand Saline; two sisters, Lynda Minatrea and husband Charles of Mineola and Loyce Holmes and Husband Buddy of Hawkins; two grandchildren, Jenna Hauck and Jesse Leuzinger; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the funeral home.
