Dorothy Graves

Services for Mrs. Dorothy Pope Graves, 74, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Richard Graves officiating.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Graves passed away January 19, 2017, at a Tyler hospice. She was born May 5, 1942, in Dallas to Roy & Pearl V. Waddill Pope. She was raised in Grand Saline and had been back in Grand Saline since 2013. Dorothy was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ and loved quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rebecca Shelton and Gloria Johnstone; and an infant child, James Roy Gracey.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Graves of Grand Saline; three sons, John Gracey of Denver, CO, Don Gracey and wife Kim of Denver, Co, Ray Gracey and wife Patty of Peru; brother, Emmett Pope and wife Sandy of Dallas; sister, Charlotte Townsend and husband James of Allen; two brothers-in-law, Dave Johnstone of Grand Saline and Larry Shelton and wife Linda of Arkansas; two best friends, Linda LaPrade and Shirley Bryant; 6 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
