Joy Green

Services for Joy Clower Green, 87 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Carl McCann officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green passed away July 24, 2012 in Grand Saline. She was born November 27, 1924 in Van Zandt County to Carl & Odessa Whitt Clower. She spent most all of her life in Grand Saline where she worked in the school cafeteria. She was Church of Christ. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.E. "Buster" Green; son, Mark Green; five brothers, Weldon, Truman, Edward, Glenn and Danny Clower; and four sisters, Avis Bailey, Peggy Rogers, Sue Baugh and Betty Kirby.
Survivors include son, Matthew Green of Grand Saline; three grandsons, Chad & Clifford Green of Grand Saline and Jacob Green and wife DeHanna of Edgewood; five sisters, Billie Watson of Grand Saline, Jo Gilchrist of Van, Kay Huffines of Van, Jean Dickerson of Grand Prairie and Sherry Shinpaugh of Quinlan; numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Carl Clower, Chuck Clower, Ronnie Clower, Todd Clower, Scott Clower, Tracy Clower, Wesley Baugh, Gary Baugh, Stephen Huffines and Larry Pruitt.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
