Lord Grisham

Visitation for Lord “John” Grisham, 83, of Alba, is scheduled for 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Interment will be in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.

Mr. Grisham passed away August 12, 2023, in Tyler. He was born April 28, 1940, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to J.V. and Lessie Marie Worthey Grisham. He lived most of his life in the Alba area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and looking for arrowheads. He loved spending time with his family and was a big fan of John Wayne. John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack “Sam” Grisham, Jr., Andy Grisham, and Howell J. Grisham; sister, Sheila Bunch; and sister-in-law, Emmie Grisham.

Survivors include his son, Danin Russell Grisham; two daughters, Kimberly Zolan and husband John of Connecticut and Christina Tidwell of Crowley; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
