Mary Jeanette Guinn

Services for Mary Jeanette Guinn, 83 of Arlington, formerly of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013 at Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Guinn passed away March 26, 2013 in Arlington. She was born January 20, 1930 in Grand Saline to Carroll "Red" & Ruby Metcalf Norman. She spent her early years in Grand Saline and graduated from Grand Saline High School. She married Wiley Guinn in 1949. Once their married life began, they lived in Maryland, California and many places in between. She taught school in Georgia and California. She also managed rental property in Arlington that she and Mr. Guinn owned. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wiley Guinn in 2011; sisters, Mavis Grant and husband Chad and Juanita Adkins and husband Jake; and special niece, Susan Adkins.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy & Tom Thompson of Virginia; three grandchildren, Angela Wheeler and husband Bill, Melanie Wylie and husband Joe and David Thompson and fiance Casey; and five great-grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Emily, Christopher and Gabriel; and numerous other relatives and friends.
