Services for Allen Hall, 72 of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Lawrence Springs Baptist Church, Grand Saline, with Bro. Steven Swaim officiating.
Mr. Hall passed away January 27, 2014 in Athens. He was born December 24, 1941 in Dallas to James Allen & Alma Evelyn Jones Hall. He spent the last 30 years in Van Zandt County where he was a member of Lawrence Springs Baptist Church and worked as a certified welder and inspector. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, David Hall and Mark Hall.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, JoAnn Hall of Wills Point; daughter, Dana Sherwood of Edgewood; two grandchildren, Cody Clark and wife Jordan of Wills Point and Jake Hall of Fruitvale; and one great-granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Hall.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Lawrence Springs Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
