Harold Waters

Services for Harold Stanley Waters, 80, of Houston, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak, with Daniel Gudgel II officiating.

Interment will follow at Hooker Cemetery.

Mr. Waters passed away in Houston on April 12, 2026. He was born June 20, 1945, in Pasadena, to Henry & Alice Caddell Waters. Harold lived most of his life in Houston where he worked in IT as a computer programmer. He married Vera Dianna Brumit on March 24, 1967, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Deer Park. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Leon Waters, Lelan Waters, Kenneth Waters, and Cletus Waters; and sister, Anita Faye Waters.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Vera Dianna Waters of Houston; son, Jerry Waters and wife Tina of Kileen; granddaughter, Felicia Doreck and husband Chris of Santa Fe; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fowler, Joey Robinson, Cory Brumit, Garland Brumit, Edward Robinson, and Daniel Gudgel II.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
