Services for Francis Mae Copeland Hass, 79, of Yantis, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. James Judd officiating.
Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Hass passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her residence in Yantis. She was born July 11, 1944, in Quitman, to Herman Lee and Inez Odesa Fox Copeland. On June 8, 1963, she married Waymon Dell Hass in Wood County. She had lived the last 60 years in Prosper, before moving to Yantis a few months ago. Francis was a member of First Assembly of God in Emory. She was a cook at Rogers Elementary School, in Frisco, for 20 years. She enjoyed reading and holding her dog Tutter. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Francis was preceded in death by her parents; brother, R.V. Copeland; and son, Raymond Hass.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Waymon “Shortie” Hass of Yantis; daughter, Vickie Lynn Hardaway of Yantis; two grandsons, Kevin Hass and wife Amanda of Yantis and Kyle Ray Hass of Yantis; four great-grandchildren, Lilly, Autumn, Sylas, and Brealynn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Hass, Kyle Hass, Asa Staley, John Staley, Jackie Staley, and Douglas Hass.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
