Larry Edward “Bob” Hawkins, Sr.

GRAND SALINE - Memorial services for Larry Edward “Bob” Hawkins, Sr., 64, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hawkins passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011, in Athens.
He was born February 13, 1947, in Grand Saline. On August 6th, 2004, he married Debera Ray Stutts in Canton. He lived most of his life in Grand Saline. He was a professional over the road truck driver for many years and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Grand Saline.
He is survived by his wife, Debera Hawkins of Grand Saline; son and daughter in-law, Nathan and Kelly Hawkins of Canton; stepsons, Joey Davis of Gurdon, Arkansas, and Jim Davis of Atlanta; stepdaughter, Cindy Davis of Red Water; brother, James Hawkins of Gladewater; 13 grandchildren, Kamryn Michelle Hawkins, Samuel James Hawkins, Angela Rennee Hawkins, Justin Daniel Tidwell, James Dylan Tidwell, Brandi Jennine Hawkins, Katelynn Jennine Hawkins, Justin Thomas-Gene Davis, William Pierce, Candy Elizabeth Roebuck, James Davis, Shea Davis, and Christopher Lynn Davis, and numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by parents, A. M. and Jewel Hawkins; son, Larry Edward Hawkins, Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Scott.
Pallbearers will be Terry Jordan, Randy Watson, Teddy Anderson, Robert Wardrup, Jerry Armstrong, and James Boyles.
