Billie Hazel

Services for Mrs. Billie J. Hazel, 87, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Kyle White officiating.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Hazel passed away August 23, 2020, in Tyler. She was born August 18, 1933, in Grand Saline, to Omer & Georgia Mae King Wheeler. She lived all of her life in Fruitvale where she was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ and a homemaker. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Hazel; brother, Don Wheeler; and sister, Betty Yarbrough.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Osa Dee Hazel of Fruitvale; daughter, Judy & Jimmy Woodrum of Fruitvale; two grandchildren, Brian & Bree Woodrum of Edgewood and Amanda & Zach Masterson of Fruitvale; five great-grandchildren, Cade Woodrum, Luke Masterson, Emma Masterson, Jessica Woodrum, and Tucker Dolan; Connie Walters, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Garrett, David Hazel, John Oliver, Ronnie Nations, Jr., Ronnie Nations, Sr. and Ronnie Abrams.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Garrett.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m., until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
