Services for Bonnie Henry, 92 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Corinth Baptist Church with Bro. Bert Fite officiating.
Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henry passed away April 24, 2013 in Terrell. She was born December 2, 1920 in Rhonesboro to Carl Lee & Della James Chaffin. She spent many years in Dallas, and over 40 years in the Corinth Community near Grand Saline where she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Auguie Landie Henry; two brothers, J.M. Chaffin and Neil Dean Chaffin; sister, Leedell Chaffin Pepper; daughter, Rebecca Hunter; and great-grandson, Wesley Marett.
Survivors include one brother, Sam Chaffin and wife Geneva of Mineola; one sister, Lou Hunter of Terrell; three grandchildren, Earl Dean Marett and wife Pam of Mesquite, Billy Hunter of Dallas, and Robert Hunter and wife Barbara Clark of Greenville; two great-grandchildren, Chad Marett and wife Jamey of Heartland and Jonathan Marett of Mesquite; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Gideon’s International.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
