Michael Henson

Services for Michael Wayne “Bruisor” Henson, 43, of Quinlan, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mr. Henson passed away August 16, 2021, in Quinlan. He was born April 9, 1978, in Kaufman County, to Jack and Joyce Ann Taylor Henson, Jr. “Bruisor” moved from Kaufman to the Quinlan area 4 years ago and attended Lakeview Church in Quinlan. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to Colorado. He loved his children and grandchildren more than life itself. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his three sons, Justin Paul Henson of Eustace, Jacob Lynn Henson of Eustace, and Jack Junior Henson of Palestine; three, daughters, Hannah Elizabeth Henson of Wills Point, Cheyenne Joyce Henson of Palestine, and Nevaeh Gail Rose Henson of Palestine; two brothers, Gary Lynn Henson and wife Claudia of Kaufman and Kenneth Glenn Henson and wife Estela of West Tawakoni; three sisters, Tonya Ann Henson and husband Billy Jack Ladd of Quinlan, Katie Marie Dunson and husband Brian of Palestine, and Paula Rena Henson of Phenix City, AL; two grandchildren, Ashton and Lexii; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Dwayne Furrer, Kenneth Andrew Henson, Jesus A. Lopez, Jr., Christopher Rey Lopez, Joseph Martinez, and Enrique Jose Tirado.
The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
